Week 1 - 20
I found out I was pregnant on June 4th; we were just 3 and a half weeks. The first few weeks flew by! I felt amazing some days, and other days I was pretty sure if I blinked too long I may just fall asleep. We had weddings, bachelorette parties, drag races, and were finishing up our addition throughout the summer; and life carried on as usual while our little bundle was slowly growing. I kept telling people that if I did not know I was pregnant, I would not have known. As in I felt great and didn’t have any of those “classic” pregnancy symptoms. I was loving a great excuse to eat a ton of food and sleep whenever I wanted. Our first few appointments were uneventful and we loved seeing our baby! My mom was even able to be in town from NC during one of my ultrasound appointments and got to see our tiny peanut wiggling all over. We hadn’t put too much thought into the nursery yet because we knew we had time before our 2/15/25 due date, so we focused on finishing other areas of the house in preparation for our little one. Pregnancy was everything I ever hoped it would be. Anthony and I could not be more excited, we loved picturing life with our new baby, and we were so excited to do all the fun getting ready for baby things! I was loving getting a little bump and dressing it up in cute Bills gear and obsessing over who this little nugget was going to be. So far so good… until we hit the 20 week anatomy scan.
